A yoga retreat is more than yoga or asanas; it is the whole experience. Our August yoga retreats combine the practice of yoga asanas with meditation, nature walks, and cultural visits to Roncesvalles and Burguete. And above all, we have a lot of fun!
The combination of yoga, meditation, nutritious meals, as well as the good atmosphere make any concern seem like a distant memory. Our retreats are the perfect way to have fun and have a great, restful weekend.
Our yoga retreat is held in Casa Marterena, a magnificent palace house in Arrieta, a small town in the Navarrese Pyrenees located between Roncesvalles, the start of the road to Santiago, and the Irati jungle, the second-largest beech forest in Europe after the Black Forest.
The August Retreat Includes:
- Accommodation in a double room for shared or single use in the Pyrenees Yoga Retreat Center, located in a completely renovated palace house from the 13th century
- Vegetarian, ecological, and Ayurvedic cuisine from our orchard or friendly orchards
- Complete practices of yoga, pranayama, and guided meditation at dawn to activate us
- Complete practices of pranayama and guided sunset meditation to relax and sleep better
- Hiking through the jungle of Irati and the Camino de Santiago
- Visit with local guide to Roncesvalles, the strategic medieval enclave, in which we discover treasures and exciting moments of our history
- Practice of millenary tools of consciousness and relaxation in nature
- Tea and fruit always available
